Skin Profile

This is an introduction to my own personal skin concerns. I figured that it would be useful to others and in reference for other posts. All of my recommendations are based on my own experience with the product, so please keep YMMV in mind with every review. (Your Mileage May Vary)

Skin type and characteristics:
  • Normal/Combination/Slightly sensitive
  • Mildly oily nose with mild blackheads.
  • Fine lines under eyes, red/purple tinged dark circles.
  • Young, thin skin. Broken capillaries, redness.
  • VERY prone to PIE (post inflammatory erythema) as opposed to PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation).
  • VERY prone to closed comedones. Not susceptible to big red pimples, only once in a while, and usually as a result of environmental aggravation (by product ingredient, contact surfaces, etc).
Ingredients I'm PRETTY sure my skin doesn't like:
  • Cetearyl alcohol
  • Alcohol
  • Some silicones
  • Coconut oil
  • Avobenzone
  • Oxybenzone
  • Cyclopentasiloxane
